Inventors month in Proto

Long time. No post. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ I have been very busy, but at the same time, I feel like everything is hanging somewhere, and not going anywhere. Duh. But I decided to make a post about our nice family time in Proto avastustehas, where was an ’inventors month’, with a big program!

We visited Proto on 7th of November, where there was a whole day full of fun! On that weekend the main focus was on different science shows and workshops. Everything was very nicely built up and organised, and it was totally fun family day over there!

So we started our little tour over there form the first floor, where there were many attractions, if I can say so. πŸ€“ There were different VR games – like riding a bike in the air, flying with hot air balloon, riding with horse gig and sport car, and so much more!

There were also many other activities to do and one of the most popular ones was that thing with the planets. So basically you had to ‘pump’ one lid, and when the pressure was right then pull the other lid and target one planet form above.

A really cool, about 45-minute science show was also a real eye-catcher! They did some very cool but at the same time easy tricks, with ice, dry ice, fire, and example Fairy. All the tricks were presented in a way that also the young audience would understand everything well. They were catching the attention by asking questions and inviting children to be a part of the tricks.

Our 8-year old very much enjoyed the science show!

On the second floor, there was an amazing lego world! I am so sad that I forgot to take photos over there… πŸ₯Ί But there was a fierce lego city going on – with moving trains, sports cars, Starwars Tatooine scene, Harry Potter collection and so on!

Also besides the already built lego city, there was a possibility for everyone to build new things to make a new city. There was a huge pile of different legos to build with. We also built two small buildings or something like that. πŸ€“βœŒπŸ»

Robotics

And last but not least, we also participated in the robotics class, where we had to build a car. This was interesting. We also have Lego Boost things at home, and our smallest member is also taking a robotics class, so she was like a pro already. The workshop was with WEDO robots, and after finishing the robot, there were also a couple of races, and our car also won two races! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

So it was one very active Saturday before Father’s Day. And for our family, it was a part of the Father’s Day celebration, because the next morning very early our stronger side of the family had to catch the plane. So we decided to spend the day like that. And it was totally worth it! 😍
